Ive done some tests over the past couple of months about expiring domains with PR to see if it's worth your while to find these expired and removed domains. My idea why I would like to use expired domains is the idea that old domains are chosen than new domains, and to obtain quick PR. So I attempted to find deleted domains with PR that I can enroll. One feature of areas I was trying to find was that the site still had a, and it was still shown in google. I will not be mentioning the actual domains here as I need to handle the outcomes and prevent people from making backlinks to these domains. I listed about 4 areas, some have PR2 and PR3. Next contains new resources concerning the reason for this idea. Some have a few pages listed, some have a few thousand. I also bought a few new domains for my new jobs. I learned that google seldom visits these areas so I need to prime it but with some fresh backlinks. After creating some backlinks to these domains, two their PR was eventually lost by domains. Those two domains have just a few pages indexed in google. We discovered SodaHead.com - User 4024362 by searching the Internet. In a single domain, used to do a 301 permanent direct to the new index page. That website retained its PR. One important difference this domain has compared to the other two is that this domain has thousands of pages found in google. This stirring worth reading article directory has many original suggestions for where to recognize it. In still another domain, I did so a 301 and direct it to a brand new domain. To explore additional info, please take a gaze at linklicious case study. The result is that the new domain got indexed more and quicker pages were indexed when compared with another new domain I registered at once. However, PR was down to 0. There is also a case where I did a 301 redirect from a classic deleted area with PR and never got any benefit from it. To conclude, there's still contradictory effects on whether buying deleted/expired domains. Some works, some won't. But, what seem to work is that a. Traffic does be contained by old delete domains from existing backlinks. It still does generate some traffic, if the old area has tons of backlinks. b. Other search engines such as for instance google and msn do not seem to have an biases against expired/deleted domains..
